About the Pre-School
Gorefield Pre-School is located in the semi-rural village of Gorefield just on the outskirts of Wisbech. Our building was purpose built, and has disabled access for both children and parents. Our aims are to enhance the development and education of children under the statutory school age in a parent involving community group. We work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop, in a safe, secure and stimulating environment. Our group offers children and their parents a service that provides equality and values diversity. We currently have 31 children on roll aged between 2 and 5 years, the majority of our children are white British, with 6.5% are of ethnic groups, 3.2% are SEND (special educational needs) 0% ELA (English as an additional language) 9.7% access the 2 year funding, There are 18 boys and 13 girls on our register, 12.9% are summer born girls, 19.9% are summer born boys.
